Fun fact: Picpoul means "stings the lips" in French; due to its sky-high acidity.
Quench your thirst on a hot day.
Florensac are specialist white wine producers based in the Picpoul de Pinet region of southern France near the Mediterranean coastline just 10km inland from the lagoon called ‘le Bassin de Thau’ whose cooling sea breezes favour the production of crisp, fresh white wines. Sustainable agricultural and winemaking are at the heart of everything Florensac do: pests are deterred in the vineyards by natural means of ‘sexual disorientation’ and the winery reduce carbon emissions by drawing energy from their vast bank of solar panels.
"Le Picpoul from Cave de Florensac is a really lively wine with aromas of citrus and white fruits. The palate is fresh over notes of lemon and grapefruit. It's hard to miss out when you treat yourself to some seafood and fish dishes. Its quality will enhance any well-made dish! Equally suitable as an aperitif or as a table wine, and it can be consumed all year round without letting you down."
