Grapes
A blend composed of 80% Pinot Meunier and 20% Chardonnay. The blend uses approximately 70% base wine and 30% reserve wine from previous vintages.
Farming
This Grower Champagne (RM - Récoltant-Manipulant, or RC - Récoltant-Coopérateur) sources grapes from the family's 3.7 hectares of vineyards in the Côteaux Sud d'Épernay, including the 1er Cru village of Pierry and the village of Moussy, on clay, limestone, and flinty-chalk soils.
Winemaking
Fermented in stainless steel, this Champagne undergoes a long maturation period, spending a minimum of 5 years on the lees before disgorgement. The residual sugar level is a Brut dosage of 6–7 g/L, followed by an additional rest period in the bottle before release.
Tasting Notes
The wine shows a brilliant gold-yellow color and fine bubbles. Aromas include pastry, ripe apples, lemon, and dried fruits, underpinned by fresh minerality. The palate is balanced and engaging, featuring notes of delicate honey, dried fruits, and a flinty, mineral character.
