Grapes
A blend of three Champagne varietals, typically 55%–60% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir, and 5%–10% Pinot Meunier. The Chardonnay primarily comes from Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs (Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Avize, and Cramant).
Farming
Sourced from the best Grand Cru vineyards of the Côte des Blancs for Chardonnay, and other top sites for the Pinots (e.g., Tours-sur-Marne, Bouzy, Ambonnay). The house is located in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.
Winemaking
The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks, with all cuvées systematically undergoing a full malolactic fermentation. It is aged on the lees for a minimum of 30 to 36 months before disgorgement. It receives a light Brut dosage, typically between 7–8 g/L.
Tasting Notes
This Champagne is prized for its elegance and balance. It exhibits a pale gold color with a fine mousse. The nose is pure, showing notes of citrus, white flowers, lemon rind, and brioche. The palate is fresh, round, and delicate, with a clean, fruity, and mineral-driven finish.
