Aromas of fresh cranberry, raspberry, black cherry, and violet lead into a medium-bodied, silky palate. Flavors of red currant, subtle dried herbs, and sweet spice join bright acidity and fine, soft tannins through a clean, fruity finish.
Hand-harvested, organically farmed grapes (70% Sangiovese and 30% Montepulciano) undergo temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Crafted as a fresh, low-intervention red without added sulfur, the wine rests in stainless steel to maintain primary fruit purity before bottling.
Grapes come from estate vineyards overlooking Lake Corbara in the Umbria IGT region. Rooted in marine sedimentary soils composed of clay, limestone, and fossilized shells, the vines benefit from significant lake-driven air currents that preserve natural freshness.
