2024 Andriano Pinot Grigio
What it Tastes Like

Aromas of jasmine, honeysuckle, and ripe pear open to a palate that is bright and citrus-driven, with notes of green apple, grapefruit pith, and a subtle touch of mountain herbs. The acidity is lively and precise, and a gentle mineral thread runs through to a clean, refreshing finish.

How it’s Made

Grapes are harvested from the cooler northeastern parcels of the estate in mid to late September, then fermented at controlled temperatures in stainless steel. The wine rests on its fine lees for five to six months before bottling, building texture and complexity while preserving the freshness and varietal clarity that defines this bottling.

Where it’s From

The vineyards sit at 260 to 380 meters above sea level on the lower slopes of Mount Gantkofel in Alto Adige, Italy's northernmost wine region. Over centuries, the dolomite and calcareous stone of the mountain has eroded and fanned out across the valley floor, forming a deep, mineral-rich clay and limestone soil that leaves a distinct imprint on the wine. The valley opens to the south, delivering ample daytime sunshine, while altitude and cool alpine nights preserve the crisp acidity and aromatic lift that are the hallmark of this terroir.
