Aromas of crushed blackberry, blackcurrant, and fresh violet lead into a full, generous palate. Rich dark fruit flavors are layered with savory notes of dried thyme, rosemary, and cracked black pepper. The body is broad and structured, balanced by supple, rounded tannins and a clean, warming finish.
A classic Southern Rhône blend dominated by Grenache, alongside Syrah and Mourvèdre. The grapes are partially destemmed and undergo a long, slow maceration in temperature-controlled tanks to gently extract color and flavor. The wine is then aged for ten months, primarily in concrete vats with a small portion in oak barrels, to refine its texture while preserving the fresh profile of the fruit.
Grapes are grown on the steep, sun-drenched terraces at the foothills of the Dentelles de Montmirail within Vacqueyras. The vineyards feature a drainage-heavy mix of clay, limestone, and ancient stony terraces covered in large pebbles. This rocky terrain radiates heat back onto the vines, while the regular Mistral wind cools the canopy to keep the fruit concentrated and balanced.
