Hand-harvested 100% Tempranillo undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine ages for a minimum of six months in American oak barrels to add structure and spice before bottling.
Grapes come from estate vineyards in the Rioja DOCa region of Spain. Growing in chalky clay and limestone soils under the cooling influences of the Cantabrian Mountains and the Atlantic, the vines yield balanced fruit with retained freshness.
