Hand-harvested Barbera ferments with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks for up to 12 days. The wine ages for 18 months in French oak barriques (20% new) to integrate French oak spice with the parcel's natural concentration.
Grapes come from 35-year-old vines in the southeast-facing Campass parcel within the Serraboella cru of Neive. Situated at 350 meters elevation in clay soils, the site provides excellent drainage and ideal sun exposure for ripe, structured fruit.
