What it Tastes Like

Aromas of ripe white peach, dried citrus peel, passion fruit, vanilla, and toasted almond lead into a full-bodied, structured palate. Flavors of glazed pear, apricot, red berry, and subtle baking spices mesh with a savory, mineral undertone. The texture is rich and broad, supported by a creamy mid-palate from oak integration and vibrant natural acidity through a long, lingering finish.

How it’s Made

Crafted primarily from old-vine Grenache along with Rolle (Vermentino). Grapes are hand-harvested early in the morning and pass through optical sorting before being chilled to lock in freshness. Vinification and aging occur entirely in temperature-controlled, 600-liter new French oak demi-muids for roughly eleven months. Regular twice-weekly bâtonnage builds textural weight and complexity.

Where it’s From

Grapes are sourced from a single parcel of nearly century-old Grenache vines located at the Château d'Esclans estate in the Esclans Valley, near Fréjus in Côtes de Provence. Planted on elevated slopes with clay and limestone soils, the vines benefit from warm Mediterranean sunshine tempered by coastal sea breezes, fostering deep concentration while retaining essential natural freshness.
