Bright citrus and white stone fruit aromas lead, with hints of grapefruit, gooseberry, and subtle herbal notes. The palate is crisp and medium-weighted with bracing minerality and a clean, refreshing finish.
Grapes are hand-harvested from clay and limestone hillside parcels and fermented in temperature-controlled vats. After fermentation the wine is aged on its fine lees for six months prior to bottling.
Produced by Château La Rame, one of the oldest estates in the Bordeaux region’s Sainte-Croix-du-Mont area with vineyards overlooking the Garonne River. Fruit for this Bordeaux Blanc comes from vines planted on clay-limestone soils with southern exposure in Bordeaux, primarily Sauvignon Blanc with a small proportion of Sémillon.
