Juicy and lifted, with aromas of cherry, wild strawberry, and ripe plum layered with subtle earthy notes. The palate is medium-bodied and supple, driven by fresh red fruit, fine tannins, and bright acidity, finishing clean and energetic.
Malbec fermented with native yeasts in clay tinajas, followed by several months of aging in the same vessels. Bottled without fining or filtration and with no added sulfites, preserving purity of fruit and texture.
From Catena’s vineyards in Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, and inspired by traditional clay-vessel winemaking brought to Argentina by the Catena family’s Italian roots. Alluvial soils and a dry, high-sun climate contribute freshness and clarity to this limited bottling.
