Hand-harvested fruit ferments in hybrid wood-and-steel tanks with skin contact for about two weeks. The distinct varieties age separately in French oak barriques for 6 to 8 months before blending, followed by additional barrel aging and resting in bottle before release.
Grapes come from estate vineyards in Montalcino. The vines grow in clay-loam and calcareous soils, benefiting from warm Tuscan sunshine and cooling maritime breezes that promote even ripening while retaining acidity.
