Aromas of ripe pear, lemon curd, and white flowers lead into a refined, medium-bodied palate. Flavors of tart yellow apple and citrus peel mesh with subtle notes of toasted almond, wet stone, and light pastry. The texture is supple and creamy from lees contact, balanced by bright natural acidity that drives a focused, mineral finish.
Hand-harvested Chardonnay is whole-cluster pressed and fermented in French oak casks using low-intervention techniques. Founders Christopher Andrew and Steph Gates age the wine on its fine lees to build mouthfeel and complexity without heavy oak masking, bottling the finished wine with minimal sulfur additions.
Grapes are sourced entirely from Gregory Ranch Vineyard, an isolated site tucked into the forested foothills of the Yamhill-Carlton region in Willamette Valley. The vines grow in well-draining, sedimentary Willakenzie soils on sloped hillside exposures. Cool mountain air and marine influences allow the fruit to ripen slowly, preserving fresh natural acidity and distinct mineral structure.
