2022 Fortunate Son 'The Warrior' Cabernet Sauvignon

Aromas of white pepper, raspberry jam, dried strawberry, clay pot, and tobacco leaf lead into a complex, full-bodied palate. Flavors of ripe red fruit, apricot, seasoned sweet oak, and damp limestone mesh with a cool mineral depth. The texture is muscular and dense, supported by vibrant natural acidity and fine-grained, grippy tannins through a long, persistent finish.

Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, hand-sorted berry by berry. Grapes undergo fermentation in small French oak fermenters and age for 35 months in 100% new French oak barriques made from ultra-tight grain wood air-dried for three years.

Grapes are sourced from a single, small, family-owned vineyard site in Napa Valley. Extended hang time during the 2022 growing season allowed maximum fruit concentration and full phenolic balance to develop before harvest.
