Aromas of wild blackberry, dark cherry, and purple violets lead into a vibrant palate of crunchy blueberry and crushed stones. The body is medium and fleshy, driven by a bright acidity and fine, gravelly tannins that ground the juicy fruit flavors. The finish is clean, savory, and marked by a distinct mineral lift.
Made from Gamay fermented whole-cluster with indigenous yeasts to enhance aromatic complexity. The wine is pressed gently and aged in old oak vats to develop texture without introducing oak flavors, then bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfur to preserve fruit purity.
Grapes are sourced from the steep volcanic slopes of Mont Brouilly within Beaujolais. The vineyards feature a unique bedrock of blue diorite stone, locally called pierre bleue, which gives the wine its structural depth and mineral character. The vines enjoy full sun exposure on the hillsides, allowing the fruit to ripen completely while maintaining fresh natural acidity.
