Grapes
A Bordeaux-style blend (Corte) composed of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Cabernet Franc, 5% Malbec, and 1% Syrah. The blend is designed to be Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant.
Farming
The grapes are sourced from a combination of vineyards in Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley in Mendoza. The regions are renowned for their high-altitude, rocky, and alluvial soils which contribute to the blend's structure and freshness.
Winemaking
The grapes are fermented and pressed separately. The resulting wine is aged for approximately 15 months in French oak barrels, with roughly 14–15% new French oak and the remainder being second- and third-use barrels, and is typically bottled unfined.
Tasting Notes
The wine offers a concentrated, medium-to-full-bodied profile. Aromas include dark cherries, plum, and cassis, intertwined with savory notes of graphite, cedar, and cigar box. The palate is juicy and balanced, supported by a lively acidity and moderately firm tannins.
