Aromas of acacia, orange blossom, ripe pear, and white peach lead into a warm, medium-to-full-bodied palate. Flavors of pineapple, citrus zest, and yellow apple mesh with subtle notes of fresh herbs and almond. The texture is round and creamy, supported by balanced natural acidity and a long, savory finish driven by distinct saline mineral notes.
Farmed organically across old vines. Hand-harvested grapes undergo direct pressing without skin maceration, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The wine avoids malolactic fermentation to retain freshness, aging in stainless steel tanks on fine lees with periodic batonnage for around seven months before extended bottle aging.
Grapes are sourced from the historic Perdaudin vineyard in Monteu Roero, located within the Roero DOCG of Piedmont, Italy. Situated at 320 meters elevation with southern sun exposure, the site features steep slopes of calcareous sand rich in prehistoric marine fossils, which lend aromatic complexity and strong mineral drive to the Arneis fruit.
