2022 ALH Cabernet Sauvignon

A rich Cabernet with dark cherry, blackberry, and plum aromatics, accented by earthy herb notes and hints of violet. The palate shows layered dark fruit with firm tannins and balanced acidity, finishing clean with integrated savory character.

The 2022 blend is predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon with small additions of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Grapes were hand-harvested and fermented with native yeasts, then aged roughly 18 months in French oak barrels with a portion of new wood before bottling.

Produced under the ALH label by Agustina L. Hobbs, this Cabernet comes from select blocks on the Nathan Coombs Estate in the Coombsville AVA of Napa Valley, California. The cool, volcanic soils and moderated climate of Coombsville support slow ripening and balanced acidity in Cabernet Sauvignon.
