Aromas of dark cherry, crushed blackberry, violet, and dark spice lead into a rich, full-bodied palate. Flavors of black plum, espresso, and leather mesh with savory earthy undertones. The texture is dense and mouth-filling, anchored by firm, fine-grained tannins and bright natural acidity through a long, structured finish.
Farmed using organic principles across high-density estate blocks. Hand-harvested grapes are sorted and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel and concrete tanks. The wine ages for 30 to 36 months in large Slavonian oak casks, called botti, followed by extended bottle aging prior to release.
Grapes are grown in the Montosoli valley north of Montalcino, Italy. The vineyard sits in a natural amphitheater featuring marl and clay soils mixed with shale, benefiting from cool northern breezes and warm afternoon sun that build deep fruit concentration while maintaining natural acidity.
