Aromas of dark blackberry, ripe blueberry, violet, and crushed stone lead into a juicy, medium-to-full-bodied palate. Flavors of black plum, dark cherry, and cocoa mesh with subtle notes of licorice and fresh earth. The texture is smooth and vibrant, supported by supple tannins and bright natural acidity that carries into a clean, savory finish.
Farmed organically and biodynamically with strict respect for the soil. Grapes are harvested by hand and destemmed before undergoing native yeast fermentation in thermoregulated concrete vats. The wine ages in concrete tanks rather than oak barrels, preserving the natural fruit profile and iron-rich mineral character of the site without oak influence.
Grapes are grown in the Cahors appellation of Southwest France, situated along the Lot River Valley. The estate vineyards sit on high-elevation limestone plateaus where the soils feature a distinct mix of red clay and siderolithic iron, contributing structure and a stony mineral drive to the Malbec grapes.
