Blackberry, crème de cassis, and dark plum lead, followed by subtle notes of spicy oak and smoked tobacco. The palate is full‑bodied with firm, ripe tannins and balanced acidity.
Grapes are hand‑harvested and fermented for about 25 days in a combination of oak and concrete vessels, and aged for 22 months in French oak barrels with approximately half new.
Produced by Crown Point, an estate winery in the Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara AVA on California’s Central Coast. The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon is drawn from volcanic hillside parcels planted to 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Petit Verdot.
