Château de Chaintre 'Les Sables' Saumur-Champigny 2020

Located in the heart of Saumur-Champigny, perched high above the Loire River just to the west of Chinon, Chateau de Chaintres has been in the hands of the de Tigny family since 1938; it is today run by Elisabeth de Tigny Mourot. The vineyard comprises some fifty acres, planted to a mix of Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc.

Chateau de Chaintres Saumur-Champigny Les Sables is garnet with purple reflections. Fresh red fruits on the nose. A fruity and spicy attack on the palate. The mouth is supple with a mineral and elegant finish.
