Aromas of red cherries, plum, and subtle herbal lift are present alongside hints of spice and earth. The palate shows concentrated dark fruit supported by firm, chalky tannins and balanced acidity, carrying through a persistent, refined finish.
This wine is made from 100 percent Sangiovese grown in organically farmed vineyards. The fruit is harvested by hand and fermented with temperature control to preserve freshness and structure. Aging takes place for roughly 30 months in large Slavonian and French oak casks, followed by additional bottle aging prior to release.
Produced by Voliero in the Brunello di Montalcino DOCG of Tuscany, Italy. Fruit comes from high-elevation vineyards with clay-rich soils in the northern part of Montalcino, a location chosen for balanced ripening and finesse in this classic Sangiovese expression.
