Aromas of deep black fruit, cassis, and ripe fig are complemented by subtle spice and herbal notes. The palate shows rich dark fruit with firm structure and balanced acidity, carrying through a long finish that suggests layered dark fruit and subtle tobacco nuances.
This Cabernet Sauvignon is made from 100 % Cabernet Sauvignon grapes harvested at optimal ripeness and fermented in stainless-steel tanks with temperature control. After fermentation the wine was aged for about 18 months in French oak barrels, with roughly half new oak used to provide structure prior to bottling.
Produced by Korbin Kameron from estate fruit grown in the Moon Mountain District AVA of Sonoma County, California. Vineyards sit on west-facing ridges of the Mayacamas Mountains, characterized by well-drained volcanic and ash soils and warm days with cooling influences from the Pacific, contributing to the site’s distinct mountain-grown Cabernet profile.
