Aromas of cassis, black cherry, dried lavender, and cedar lead into a concentrated, full-bodied palate. Flavors of dark plum, graphite, and cocoa nib mesh with subtle hints of tobacco leaf. The texture is structured and plush, framed by dense, ultra-fine tannins and vibrant acidity that extend through a long, savory finish.
Farmed sustainably with organic practices across high-risk plots, utilizing inter-row cover crops and mechanical tillage instead of herbicides. Hand-harvested grapes are sorted optically and plot-fermented in temperature-controlled concrete and stainless steel vats. The wine ages for 17 months in French oak barrels (approximately 50% new) to integrate its tannic frame.
Grapes come from the estate’s deep gravel terraces in the Margaux appellation on Bordeaux's Left Bank. The blend (65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot) is planted on coarse gravel hilltops (croupes) over sand and clay subsoils, offering exceptional natural drainage and warmth retention for deep root systems.
