Fresh and refined with aromas of citrus peel, green apple, and white flowers. The palate shows bright acidity and fine bubbles with subtle mineral and brioche notes, carrying through a clean, focused finish.
This vintage is 100 % Chardonnay hand-harvested from selected plots. After primary fermentation in stainless steel with malolactic fermentation sought, the wine spent more than four years aging on lees in bottle before disgorgement as an Extra Brut.
Produced by Champagne Roland Champion in Chouilly, Côte des Blancs, Champagne, France as part of the Club Trésors de Champagne (Special Club) series. Fruit comes exclusively from Grand Cru vineyards on chalky soils, and the cuvée is made only in exceptional years under this designation.
