Deep garnet in color with aromas of ripe black plum, blackberry, and dried fig layered with spice and a hint of cocoa. The palate is rich and concentrated with plush fruit, balanced acidity, and refined tannins carrying through a long, lingering finish.
This Late Bottled Vintage Port was made from estate-grown Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, and other traditional Douro varieties. After a controlled fermentation with extended maceration to extract color and tannin, the wine was fortified with grape spirit and matured in large oak casks for several years before bottling.
Produced by Quinta do Infantado in the Douro Valley, Portugal, this Port comes from vineyards planted on steep schist terraces overlooking the Douro River. The estate farms its vineyards with attention to vine age and site diversity, reflecting the region’s long history of fortified wine production and rugged, steep-terroir viticulture.
