Aromas of wild blackberry, dark plum, Mediterranean brush, and cedar lead into a dense, full-bodied palate. Flavors of cassis, dark chocolate, and warm baking spices mesh with a distinctive stony minerality. The texture is rich and concentrated, held by firm, integrated tannins and a long, savory finish.
Farmed organically across old vines ranging up to a century in age. Hand-harvested grapes undergo native yeast fermentation with long skin contact. The wine ages in French oak barrels and large wood casks for up to three years, followed by extended bottle aging prior to release.
Grapes are sourced from steep hillside vineyards surrounding the village of Porrera. Planted in dark slate soils called llicorella, these low-yielding vines drive intense concentration, deep color, and mineral freshness in the fruit.
