Nostalgie de la boue (day luh BOO) is a french phrase with a loose translation that means a longing for simpler times. Directly translating to “of the dirt,” de la boue is a reminder that it all comes from the ground beneath our feet. We farm ourselves and also partner with amazing growers - because great wine comes from great soil. Our simple approach to winemaking yields complexity. Nature has already perfected what we are doing, we are just adding some muddied helping hands.

De la boue began as a passion project in 2019 with 150 cases and has grown into a full time business. Travis farms the 5-acre organic vineyard, makes the wine and sources fruit from our vineyard partners. In 2021 he left his job to pursue de la boue full time.

The lightest of de la boue offerings - raspberry, cranberry and spice on the nose, delicate tannins and bright acidity give a light backbone of structure to this elegant wine.
