2018 Littorai ‘B.A. Thieriot Vineyard’ Chardonnay
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 94: The 2018 Chardonnay B.A. Thieriot Vineyard is shy at this stage, offering touches of gunflint, saline and white blossom with notes of hazelnut, toast and quince. The medium-bodied palate takes its time to open to bright, tangy flavor layers in a rounded, satiny frame and with a long finish. Give this the time it deserves in bottle, as it's currently very shy.
Vinous 94: The 2018 Chardonnay Thieriot Vineyard is by far the most expressive of the 2018 Littorai Chardonnays. Slate, crushed rocks, lemon confit, mint and a touch of new French oak add character. Airy and yet deep, with striking textural complexity, the Thieriot has so much going on.
