2019 Château Pegau ‘Cuvée Lône’ Côtes-du-Rhône Blanc
Tasting Notes ~
The wine is a blend of Clairette, Bourboulenc, Grenache Blanc and Ugni Blanc; clean, clear and bright, it show great vibrancy and fresh acidity.

95 ~
There’s such richness from the very first impression with all manner of peaches and nectarines, as well as mangoes. Smooth, peach brulée and lemon curd. Some hazelnuts, too. The palate has a super fleshy feel, very plush, very seductive and a very long, full finish. Late, mineral stream here. Drink on release or hold. This will be best at 15+ years.
Tasting Notes ~
Intense aroma that is filled with notes of preserved lemon, baked apple, and hints of honeysuckle. Toasted almond and vanilla add dimension. On the palate, lemon cream, toasted brioche, and butterscotch leave a long and lingering finish. The mouthfeel is rich and full bodied yet is balanced with acidity and freshness.

This appellation blend carries that aromatic hallmark of this winery's Chardonnays, with a streak of walnut oil that decorates the marmalade and toast tones. The palate is bright in acidity, giving energy to the flavors of walnut paste, dried orange peel and sun-dried honeysuckle.
