2018 Altocedro ‘Año Cero’ Malbec
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 91: The floral, open and expressive 2018 Año Cero Malbec had a clean, varietal nose and a medium-bodied palate with very fine tannins and a soft mouthfeel. It fermented with indigenous yeasts in concrete vats, and one-third of the volume matured in French and American oak barrels for ten months. It's quite fruit driven and juicy, with a soft, caressing texture.

Great intensity and integrity. Tannins are chewy now. Excellent tannin quality.
2013 Wayfarer ‘Golden Mean’ Pinot Noir$120.00WA 92JS 95JD 92WE 95Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 92: The Golden Mean is made exclusively from Pommard and Swan clones. Medium to deep ruby colored, the 2013 Pinot Noir Golden Mean has a savory, sautéed herbs-led nose with earthy notes of mossy bark, loam and dried leaves over a gentle red currant jelly and raspberry tart core. The medium-bodied palate has a wonderfully firm, chewy texture that nicely corrals the vibrant red fruits and earthy layers, finishing with a refreshing lift.James Suckling 95: Lightening acidity here with vibrant and ripe fruit that gives depth and beauty. Wonderful verve to this well-crafted pinot. Such energy. Drink or hold.Jeb Dunnick 92: The 2013 Pinot Noir Golden Mean is a beautiful complete, tight, Burgundian-styled effort that needs to be left alone for another 2-3 years. Black cherry, violets, blueberry and sappy floral notes emerge from this medium to full-bodied, structured 2013 that has bright acidity, excellent concentration and plenty of length on the finish.Wine Enthusiast 95: Lush and velvety, this wine offers big, dark cherry flavor around a tangy minerality. From three vineyard blocks planted to Pommard and Swan clones, it balances opposites in the way full-bodied luxuriousness meets acidity-driven juiciness, creating a desire for more. Let this wine open in the glass or cellar through 2023. Cellar Selection
