2017 Suavia ‘Monte Carbonare’ Soave Classico
Wine Spectator 90: The nose is rather shy but eventually reveals aromas of pressed field flowers and wet stone. Tangy and linear, the rounded, understated palate evokes dried apricot, mature pear and a hint of lemon drop candy alongside a suggestion of saline on the close.
James Suckling 95: Crystal-clear purity to this Soave, which shows flint, sliced lemons, chamomile and petrichor. Edgy and vertical on the palate, but flavorful and citrusy. Very mineral and precise. Long on the finish. Drink now.
