Jeb Dunnick 96: Starting with the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon, this deep purple-hued effort offers a big blast of classic To Kalon red, blue, and black fruits as well as notes of flowery incense, spice box, orange blossom, and lead pencil shavings. It's ripe, full-bodied, and sexy on the palate, and offers way more hedonistic pleasure than most in this

  • 2015 Lail ‘J. Daniel Cuvée’ Cabernet Sauvignon

    $285.99
    WA 98JD 98
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 98: Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 J Daniel Cuvee bursts forth with gregarious blackcurrant pastilles, black cherries and warm plum notes backed up by notions of spice cake, mocha and licorice. The full-bodied palate is powerfully fruited with opulent exotic spices accenting the black forest cake notions, framed by plush tannins and finishing with epic length. A beautifully buxom showstopper!

  • 2017 Clos des Papes Chateauneuf-du-Pape

    $146.99
    JD 98
Jeb Dunnick 98: This beauty has everything you could ask for. The blend is heavily shifted toward Mourvèdre, and it offers a mammoth bouquet of black cherries, graphite, cured meats, Asian spices, and assorted garrigue-like nuances. Deep, full-bodied, and concentrated, it stays straight and focused on the palate, with a stacked mid-palate, ripe, silky tannins, and fabulous length. You’re going to want bottles of this in the cellar, and comparing the 2007, 2010, 2016, and 2017 over the coming two decades is going to be a treat.

  • 2012 Amuse Bouche

    $326.99
    WA 90JS 92
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 90: The 2012 Proprietary Red Amuse Bouche offers juicy blue and red fruits along with surprisingly noticeable acidity, good cleanliness and purity, and a style that falls somewhere between a French Bordeaux and a Napa red wine. Although still youthful, it displays a potential for plenty of aromatic complexity, medium to full body, and savory flavors. The wine has yet to reveal its considerable potential, so give it several more years of bottle age and drink it over the following 10-15 years.
James Suckling 92: Aromas and flavors of walnuts, balsamic vinegar and dried fruits that follow through to a full body, round and juicy tannins and a savory finish. Some orange-peel undertones. Needs a couple of years to come together.

Full-bodied, rich, concentrated and firmly structured with ripe, grainy tannins, it has bags of depth and a very long, multilayered finish.
James Suckling 99: Extremely complex aromas of iodine, dark fruit, oyster shell, forest floor and blackberries follow through to a full body. Great intensity and integrity. Tannins are chewy now. Excellent tannin quality.
