James Suckling 93 ~ Strikingly fresh mountain herbs and blueberries, as well as a cedary and dark-stony edge with earthy nuances, too. The palate has a gently grainy feel with sleek, vibrant berry aromas and delivers a striking mix of berries and chocolate at the long, detailed finish. A blend of 90% syrah and 10% petite sirah. • 2015 Ciacci Piccolomini d’Aragona ‘Pianrosso’ Brunello di Montalcino

    $99.00
    WS 94 WA 96 JS 100 WE 98
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 96 ~ The Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona 2015 Brunello di Montalcino Pianrosso is distinguished by a unique aromatic profile that brings out mineral notes of crushed limestone or chalk. This adds a greater sense of focus and delineation that not only characterizes the bouquet but also applies to the way the wine hits the palate in a fuller and more determined way (compared to the slightly softer classic Brunello). Instead, this single-vineyard Brunello shows an upright and direct approach with soft salinity on the close followed by forest fruit, spice and medicinal herb. The mouthfeel makes a big impact thanks to its streamlined and polished texture.

    $295.00
    WA 98
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 98 ~ Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 J Daniel Cuvee bursts forth with gregarious blackcurrant pastilles, black cherries and warm plum notes backed up by notions of spice cake, mocha and licorice. The full-bodied palate is powerfully fruited with opulent exotic spices accenting the black forest cake notions, framed by plush tannins and finishing with epic length. A beautifully buxom showstopper!

  • 2010 Dom Perignon Brut

    $235.00
    WS 96 JS 98 DC 93 VN 93
James Suckling 98 ~ A firm and vivid Champagne with a precise, focused palate. Full-bodied and dry. It’s very layered and bright with light pineapple, peach, praline, cooked-apple and stone aromas and flavors. It’s very subtle and focused at the end. Integrated with richness and high acidity. Good depth. Reminds me of the 1995. Very clean. Solid. Lovely to drink already, but will age nicely.

  • 2007 Billecart-Salmon ‘Cuvée Elisabeth’ Brut Rosé

    $249.00
    WS 94 WA 97
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 97 ~ Created in 1988 as a tribute to one of the house’s founders, Elisabeth Salmon, Billecart-Salmon's iconic 2007 Millésime Brut Rosé Cuvée Elisabeth displays a beautifully radiant, shimmering orange-salmon color. The bouquet of this Pinot Noir/Chardonnay blend is as intense as it is delicate and vinous, displaying red and yellow-fleshed fruit intertwined with floral, chalky and citrus notes as well as a noble sur lie character. Round, lush and delicate on the palate, this is a highly elegant, charming, beautifully balanced rosé with great finesse and amazingly fine grip on the long yet pure, tensioned, well-structured and stimulatingly salty finish. This rosé Champagne is close to perfection! A small percentage of the Pinot Noir—from old vines in the south-facing Valofroy parcel in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ—was vinified as red wine and added to give this unique color and vinosity. The other Pinots are sourced in the grand crus Verzenay and Aÿ, and the Chardonnay comes from grand crus in the Côte des Blancs, namely Chouilly, Avize and Mesnil-sur-Oger.

  • 2014 Wayfarer ‘Golden Mean’ Pinot Noir

    $120.00
    WA 94 WE 97
Wine Enthusiast 97 ~ Dark, brooding cinnamon and fleshy black plum provide an exciting, complex counterpoint to the rakish earthiness and exotic Asian spice going on in this full-bodied, explosively compelling wine, its minerality lingering. It's young and still tightly coiled, with lingering minerality; let it open to enjoy now, but it would show best after some time, so cellar through 2024. Cellar Selection
