Jean-Paul Brun - a wine making renegade and master of vinifying still Gamay in Beaujolais - makes this delicious, fruit forward, crisp beverage in the méthode ancestrale, where fermentation finishes in the bottle, creating the bubbles. The style recalls the wines of Cerdon du Bugey. Extremely limited release and a must have, fun, delightful sparkling wine!

  • 2016 Nicolas Chemarin ‘MC2’ Morgon

    Tasting Notes ~ This 2016 Morgon MC2 comes from 40 year old vines - two sources Charmes and Corcelette - planted on sand and schist with a subsoil of decomposed rock and clay. Whole cluster fermentation lasts for 20 days in concrete and 40 percent of the cuvée is matured in neutral oak for 10 months, resulting in a dark, mineral driven and longlived style of Beaujolais perfect for pairing with game birds and hearty grains.
