  • 2020 Stolpman Vineyards ‘Love You Bunches’ Red

    $28.00
Tasting Notes ~ Serve cold! The Long 2020 carbonic Sangiovese harvest led to a wine that delivers in immediate approachability. The typical Love You Bunches pizzazz of fresh red berry fruit and cherries that we all adore give way to lychee and pomegranate. Fleshier and softer than the more angular 2018 and 2019 vintages, the 2020 has a more cushioned mid-palate. Rico Suave! Darker notes of plum and pluot accompanied by signature tartness and lingering acidity. The perfect Pizza wine.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 94 ~ The 2014 Syrah Bien Nacido Vineyard was showing very well, offering up an expressive bouquet of violets, cracked pepper, dried flowers and crushed cassis. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, bright and intense, with chalky structuring tannins, lovely tangy acidity and a long, perfumed finish. Like its 2015 counterpart, this nods to the Northern Rhône in style, but it's a bit more open for inspection.
