  • 2019 Dyckerhoff ‘Petit Gris’ Rosé

    $23.00
Tasting Notes ~ Domaine Dyckerhoff consists of 7 hectares in Reuilly in the central Loire near Bourges, about an hour west of the region of Sancerre. The allowed varieties of Reuilly are Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. The Pinot Gris is only allowed for rosé, resulting in a wine with the slightly pink tint and rich texture, it’s more than just a dry rosé. The wines of Reuilly are pleasurable and easy to drink, a racy, cool-climate style that is sure to please, and can be great alternatives to Sancerre in terms of value. Pale salmon color, fruit forward nose, great length and freshness in the palate with flavors of wild strawberries, peach skin and mineral.

  • 2018 Cicada’s Song Rosé

    $18.00
Tasting Notes ~ Produced by the loved Château des Annibals this classic Provençal rose has aromas of fresh red berries, melon, and sweet white flowers. The round palate has plenty of sea air minerality and lilting acid woven into the fleshy stone fruit and light raspberry, framed by wild herbs and white pepper. The innovative use of Rolle (also known as Vermentino) and the ancient Tibouren grape for most of the blend sets this apart from other Provence rosés by giving it a savory complexity and invigorating, wind-swept snap. Don’t be afraid of the vintage - both the 2018 and 2019 Provence Rose vintage produced wines so high in tight acidity that they are just now calming down in the bottle and are now absolutely perfect!

  • 2018 Prieuré de Montézargues Rose

    $23.00
    WS 90
Tasting Notes ~ Tavel is the only all-Rose appellation in the Rhone of France. Said to be the only Rose that can actually age (and improve with age). It has been a favorite among royalty since the 18th century - said to be Lous XIV favorite style of wine. Tavel Rose is always dry with fleshy, round body structures (much like a light red wine) and blanched by acidity. Chateau La Nerthe is comprised of mostly of Grenache and Grenache Blanc as well as Syrah, Clairette, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Bourboulenc all hand harvested from the Estate vineyards that are certified organic. This vivid pink Tavel is extremely aromatic. The nose is complex with blood oranges and graphites notes enhanced with raspberry and peach character. The palate is juicy, with a chalky-mineral acidity and a bright and energetic finish.
