Produced by three wine lovers under the brand Hammeken Cellars, the wine Oráculo is a single varietal Tinta del País (aka Tempranillo) from Ribera del Duero.
The old, venerable grapevines of this Spanish red wine grow at an altitude of 950 metres above sea level. They are over 80 years of age.
Harvested by hand during the first half of October, the grapes were destemmed, gently pressed and fermented in concrete tanks with selected yeasts and stirrings performed on a daily basis. After 2 to 3 weeks, this Crianza red wine was transferred into French oak barrels, where it completed malolactic fermentation and was aged for 24 months.
Decant Oráculo 1 hour before drinking.
